No, currently the tour is only available in spoken English only. Irish, Scottish and Welsh accents are prominent but clearly articulated.  Good English language skills are required.

The tour has been designed with adults in mind. Older children may enjoy the tour and characterisations. Recommended for 12 plus.

Arrowtown is largely wheelchair accessible with ramp access to some buildings. Buckingham Street is largely flat. The Churches Tour has more hills and gradients which may be harder to navigate.

No. the tour is an auditory storytelling experience and whilst being in the presence of the buildings will enhance your experience. With historic photography included the tour can be enjoyed from any location.

It’s recommended, but the tours are not a linear story, so it can be enjoyed individually or skipped depending on your time and interest. Introduction tracks will provide important context for the rest of the tour.

You can take the tour at any time. Those buildings and shops which are accessible will be open during normal business hours. Taking the tour at dusk or early evening can enhance the experience and make the storytelling even more evocative.
